Program managers are your main point of contact for building, deploying and maintaining a program with PACE. They steer the course creation process from concept to launch, and handle the day-to-day management of all of our programs, providing exceptional service and support to our instructors, partners, and learners alike.

Our program managers bring years of experience in:

  • Balancing the competing demands of the course build process
  • Ensuring that programs are and remain sustainable through sound market research and financial management
  • Coordinating the project to meet deadlines and stay on track
  • Providing ongoing support and consultation to college partners to ensure continued program success

PACE program managers have worked with partners across campus to bring noncredit educational experiences to life, and we look forward to helping you do the same.

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Program Intake

Program Managers review and evaluate your new program proposal, and schedule time with you and your team to learn more about your program goals. Through a collaborative effort, we work with you to develop a plan for project scope, financial projections and community impact.

Project Management

Building a noncredit course can be a big undertaking, but your Program Manager can help make that lift manageable. We manage the overall build process, including project initiation, planning, execution and evaluation.

PACE Team Activation

Your Program Manager acts as your primary PACE contact and serves as liaison to other PACE team members. You’ll work with us to activate enrollment, marketing and instructional design work.

Course Scheduling

Do you want to run your course once a year or once a term? Let Program Managers help you decide. In addition to monitoring course production, we can also help with course scheduling.

Contract and Financial Management

Financial management is an important yet time consuming part of effective project management. Your Program Manager can handle work orders and contracts, billing, revenue shares and reporting, and other aspects of your course finances, ensuring that your project stays within budget and on time for financial deliverables.

Client Support and Troubleshooting

Your Program Manager is here to provide you with ongoing support and troubleshooting on a wide range of topics related to your course, including course updates, technical issues, learner communication and management, and more.

HOW TO GET STARTED

All PACE Projects go through an intake process with program manager review and approval. If you have questions about the initial intake process, please contact our office at PACEProgramManager@oregonstate.edu.

Once a project is approved, a program manager will be assigned to you for the duration of your work with PACE. If you would like to propose a program for our program managers to review, please fill out our intake form here.
