Dear Kaiser Permanente Pharmacist, As you know, we have exciting opportunities for pharmacists to prescribe in in Oregon and Washington. Kaiser Permanente encourages and supports our pharmacists in their new role as providers. Under Oregon Board of Pharmacy rules, a pharmacist must complete the board-approved training and certification program in order to prescribe oral contraceptives. Our organization has decided to require certification for licensed pharmacists practicing in our outpatient pharmacies throughout Oregon and Washington. Licensed pharmacists can use their available continuing education day (up to eight hours) to complete the five-hour self-study course. We are receiving a $50 discount for pharmacists who register using the partner code listed below. The discounted $200 course fee qualifies for the tuition reimbursement program. Licensed pharmacists may also elect to complete the training by using their four hours of self-study continuing education and tuition reimbursement. Welcome and Introduction
