Sports marketing has traditionally relied heavily on broadcast media to advertise teams, venues and events. As technology develops, however, more and more fans are moving online, and savvy sports marketers know how to effectively reach this audience, too. Our Sports Marketing Management course will show you how digital communities interact and give you strategies to leverage your online brand presence to take your current organization even further.

In this expert-led, online course, you will:

  • Learn how to manage multiple social media and marketing platforms
  • Create a streamlined and contemporary brand image
  • Leverage the power of social media and digital marketing to advance the recognition of your team and organization

You will also work closely with instructor Mark Massari (VP for Van Wagner Sports and Entertainment) throughout the course. You will have an opportunity to create new models for marketing your brand and generating revenue. At the end, you will understand the role of market analysis, strategic planning and basic digital marketing tools and their role on your overall marketing strategy.

This course is a part of the Sports Management Certificate, which includes:

Oregon State University College Partnership

This program is offered in partnership with the Oregon State University College of Business.
