The My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance to eligible military spouses who are pursuing a license, certification or Associate's degree in a portable career field and occupation. The following Oregon State University programs have been certified as MyCAA-eligible. 

IT Cyber Security Professional with Comp TIA Security

This course is designed to fully prepare you to successfully pass the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. You will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to identify risk and participate in risk mitigation activities. You will also learn:

  • infrastructure
  • application
  • operational and information security

IT Network Specialist with Comp TIA Network+

The Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Network+ training offers mid-level certification for network professionals. CompTIA Network+ training and certification ensures you have the skills necessary for:

  • hardware setup
  • network design
  • cabling
  • configuration
  • installation
  • troubleshooting and support

Java Programming Specialist

Professional web developers work to build and maintain high-end websites for a multitude of clients and aren’t just webmasters, but rather have the technical capability to write custom scripts that will accommodate clients’ needs. Upon completion, you will also be prepared to sit for the Oracle Java Associate Certification exam.
