Sam Schwartz teaches business writing, technical writing, composition and literature at Oregon State University. He received his PhD from the University of Arizona and has previously worked at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Schwartz teaches Communicating the Craft, a course that focuses on helping professionals in the craft fermentation industry to develop their own outreach and marketing through effective rhetorical and writing strategies. He also teaches Business Writing for PACE and is an OSU alumnus (2001).
